Constraint reveals structure.
Pick a medium. Each one imposes a constraint that's invisible until you've fought it. The fight teaches something about constraints you can't learn by reading.

Materials don't lie.
A bad strategy can survive a deck review. It can't survive contact with physical material. Studio practice is a forcing function for honesty.

Different attention, different problems.
Train one kind of attention and the other gets sharper. Most "stuck" problems are problems of attention, not analysis.
